We were contacted by a representative of Pioneer Astronautics and asked to complete a single part for a NASA prototype. Max did such a great job that they came to us with a binder full of blueprints and asked him to complete the entire project. Nine months later, the prototype was complete and confirmed as a proof-of-concept by NASA. More projects are currently in the works.
We recently completed a welding job for Hydro Rocky Mountain that consisted of exotic metal (bronze, nickel, and aluminum) impellers for a hydroelectric dam cooling tower. Each one weighed over 2500lbs and required over 300 hours of TIG welding.
Lizzie's contacted us after having a bad experience with another company. They supplied the flatbed trailer and we supplied everything else. One by one we built each side, front, and back piece in the shop. Next, we used a forklift to raise each one onto the trailer and tack it securely in place. We added a handicap accessible ramp that folds away for traveling. The front consisted of two swinging doors for the targets to attach to. After two long, hot, months of outdoor building, it was sent off to be painted.
A customer bought a coastal off road DIY weld-together kit for his 2005 Xterra with two swing arms. We started by removing the old bumper. Next, we built off the mounting points from where the old bumper was bolted on. We continued piece by piece, following the body lines as closely as possible. We assembled the swing arms and set the angles for sag. Finally, we sent it off to get powder coating in semi-gloss super durable Cardinal powder.
Not only do we work with major companies, but we also like to stay busy upgrading our machines and helping out locals with smaller projects. We've been known to hotrod golf carts and build our own drift trikes and pit bikes. We like to modify the world we live in.
